During the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons, Lada Kyssy performed the title roles in “Adriana Lecouvreur”, “Tosca” and “Rusalka” at the Staatstheater Oldenburg as well as Nedda in “Pagliacci”. Among her upcoming engagements: Elisabetta in Verdi’s “Don Carlos” at the Heidenheim Opera Festival and as Desdemona in Verdi's Otello at the Teatro Petruzelli in Bari. Lada Kyssy was born in Kazakhstan, where she received her education as an opera singer (Kazakh National Conservatory, Almaty). After winning several national and international singing competitions in Kazakhstan Lada Kyssy embarked upon a career at the Abay State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater (Almaty), where she performed with a great success roles of Violetta, Liu, Micaela, Margherita of “Faust”, Marfa (Rimski-Korsakov’s “The Tsar’s Bride”) and many others. Since 2011, Lada has been working with such vocal masters and teachers as Mirella Freni, Mietta Sighele, Michela Sburlati, maestro Carlo Morganti, Emanuele Lippi, as well as Lorenzo Bavaj und Giulio Zappa in Italy. She is a winner of several international competitions, including the Riccardo Zandonai Competition (Italy) and Maria Kraja Competition (Albania). Lada Kyssy started her international career in Cagliari (Italy) with the role of Contessa in Mozart's “The Marriage of Figaro” under the baton of Hubert Soudant. She successfully performed the role of Violetta in a new production of “La Traviata” by Lorenzo Moncloa in Medellin. In 2015, Lada Kyssy started collaboration with the Tirol Festival in Erl, where she performed the roles of Violetta, Mimi, Mathilde, Abigaille. Besides, Lada performed the soprano parts in Bach’s “Matthew Passion”, Verdi’s “Requiem” and “Christmas Oratorio”.
